We have mapped out a beautiful car\/motorbike route for our guests: a tour totalling 120 km along the nine castles of Arcevia. This route runs right through the beautiful, peaceful countryside near our B&B here in Le Marche.<\/p>

We drove the whole route ourselves (of course!), and along the way we found out that a few roads are closed. Don't worry, we'll point that out to you. On the route description ready for you, those points are clearly marked and we point you in exactly the right direction, so you won't drive the wrong way and can just keep enjoying the scenery.<\/p>

The castles themselves - or rather they are fortified villages - are all worth a visit. Each castello has its own character and atmosphere. They look similar at first glance, but if you look closely, you will notice that they are all different again. And what makes it extra special: except for a few, hardly anyone lives there anymore. That gives the places an almost timeless tranquillity.<\/p>

Food on the go<\/strong><\/p>

On the way, you'll pass Nidastore, which has an idyllic little restaurant: Osteria Nido dell'Astore<\/em><\/a>. We have been there several times ourselves and have eaten deliciously. Authentic, small, and really one of those places where you imagine yourself in old Italy for a moment. They are open for lunch and dinner, but the kitchen closes at 2pm and reopens at 7pm. So if you want to have lunch there, make sure you're on time. Arrive later? Then the door is closed, which is a shame - but not a disaster!<\/p>

After all, you can also start the route a little later in the day, and then come back in the evening for la cena<\/em> - dinner. From 19:00, the osteria reopens, which is also highly recommended. In the months of June-July-August, pranzo and dinner is outdoors. You sit in the middle of the village under the church tower. It would fit right into a film set.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Bar Gallio in Loretello<\/strong><\/h4>

Bar Giallo in the small castle village of Loretello is one of those places where you immediately want to linger. When the doors are open, it is the perfect location for a drink or an aperitivo. You are in a fantastic position here - literally and figuratively - with 360-degree panoramic views over the rolling landscape of Le Marche. No buildings in sight, just peace and quiet, space and endless views. Not for nothing has this place been awarded for its impressive views.<\/p>

The menu also includes small, tasty bites that pair perfectly with a glass of wine or a refreshing spritz. A special stop during your tour of the 9 Castelli di Arcevia! Highly recommended as far as we are concerned!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
