If you are travelling via Austria and the Brenner Pass, this might be the ideal location for a stopover. This is because Hotel Bergkranz is beyond the busy points at Munich, Rosenheim and the Fernpass. From here, you can reach Italy in no time!

960km La Palma hotel on Lake Lugano.
Hotel la Palma is ideal if you are passing through and taking the route via Switzerland. What we ourselves see as an advantage is that this stopover is after the major tunnels. That gives a nice head start for the next day. Hotel la Palma is right on Lake Lugano and has a very good restaurant.
