In Italian, you pronounce CH for K. So you say Le Marke. Definitely don't pronounce it French. The Dutch, Germans and Belgians say De Marche. That's fine, although we prefer Le Marche (Say Le Marke)

We recommend for Le Marche To rent a car from Sunny Cars at the airport. They give all inclusive prices. There are no extra charges for excess etc. a safe feeling and well insured driving in Italy.

Yes! Let us know in time so we can arrange this for you.

It is really great to explore the area by scooter.

The weather is out of our control. Although it is "usually" much better than the Dutch ailing weather with unstable summers. Since we have lived here, we have enjoyed the Italian sun to the full. An early spring with an explosion in nature, long hot summers with balmy evenings outside, late autumn colours warm reds, short mild winters with white snow-covered mountain peaks that invite skiing. The seasons are a welcome change.
Our tip: don't worry about the weather, don't let it control your holiday. If you still want a weather app. Then we recommend ilmeteo.it This app is also not always accurate but always better than Dutch apps.

To start with the last: A stay at Casale di Oto is meant for rest and relaxation. Our check-out time is 10.30am with a walk-out until 11am. After that, we start getting everything ready for the next guests. We desperately need this time. The time schedule is tight, so we often don't finish before the indicated time.

The arrival time is from 4pm to 8pm. If you expect to arrive later, please let us know.

Virtually everything is included. Like an extensive and varied breakfast every day. As well as air conditioning/heating, bath and bed linen, and a beach towel for our own swimming pool (not for the beach (;)). The only thing to be paid separately is the tourist tax (at €1.20 pppn).

We serve breakfast on our terrace under the portico between 8 and 10 am.

We set separate tables for our guests so that one can start the day quietly while enjoying breakfast but also the beautiful surroundings.

Just find a place!

In less weather, we can move out to our Sala da Pranzo for a sheltered and warm environment.

We are full of plans. But fair is fair, starting up our brand new B&B takes energy, and that's where our focus is right now. In the future, this is certainly not unthinkable.

We fire up the pizza oven once a week. In an informal setting, at a long table, conviviality is paramount and oven-fresh pizza is enjoyed. When participating, we ask for 1 day's notice. So that we can prepare the necessary ingredients and quantities.

Yes indeed! We have an outdoor kitchen especially for our guests that is equipped with a BBQ/Kamado, a 2-burner cooker, a countertop with sink and a lovely sitting area with plenty of space. From here, you have a front-row seat to watch the evening sun slide behind the hills. The sunset is an experience every time. Write your name on the writing board on the wall so you have the potholders in your hands!

We can be brief about that. Pets are not allowed. An exception is, of course, assistance and guide dogs. They are welcome.

Our farm is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is not allowed on the terraces or in the house. In the garden, on the other hand, it is allowed, provided other guests are not disturbed.

In principle, we do not come to the rooms every day. Every other day, we check the room. We take away the dirty towels and, of course, exchange them for clean ones. Rubbish bags we change and toilet paper is replenished.

In Italy, 4G is advancing. Especially in the big cities. Our B&B is unfortunately outside the zone where data roaming is widely available. Keep in mind that the connection is not as fast everywhere as you are used to. We have internet via satellite from Starlink. This works well provided you are not too far from the router. You can find the password for free Wifi in the hall on the first floor.

On our own premises, you can park for free.

In less than 10 minutes you are in the middle of Senigallia. Especially in the evening, it is lovely to stay there. It is still quite a challenge to choose from the large culinary offer there.

Climate drones we are not, though we are aware of the impact of our actions on the environment. We have done our best in rebuilding our farm to be climate neutral. We have taken important steps towards sustainability. Like buying solar panels and by using zero comma zero gas.

We want to involve our guests in our sustainable efforts by drawing their attention to, for example, not leaving unnecessary lights on or taking very long showers. Enjoy, but enjoy in moderation. That way the guest contributes.

The Farmhouse Suites are located on the first floor which can be reached via the large staircase at the front of the farmhouse. Knowing this, it is best for guests to judge for themselves whether our B&B is accessible.
