The roots of our farmhouse reach deep into the past, and every stone breathes the stories of generations of farmers and hardworking families. The old barns and other spaces of Casale di Oto, which means 'farmhouse' in Italian, have been lovingly transformed into charming Farmhouse Suites with private bathrooms. It has been an extensive project, but the result is a harmonious blend of history and modernity.
On our property of nearly 6000m2, surrounded by ancient olive trees, fruit trees, majestic cypresses, and the shade of centuries-old oaks, you'll find an oasis of tranquility. The rustic charm of the farmhouse has been preserved, and you can soak up the ambiance of yesteryears while relaxing in the lush nature.
If you're looking for relaxation, you've come to the right place. Our beautiful new pool, located behind the farmhouse, is entirely at your disposal. With dimensions of 12x4 meters and a depth of 120 centimeters, it offers a refreshing experience on hot days and a perfect setting for lounging. After a revitalizing swim, you can unwind in the garden, equipped with comfortable sun loungers, green lawns, and shaded spots under the olive trees.
We've also considered your comfort. Our Farmhouse Suites are tastefully decorated and equipped with all modern conveniences. From comfortable beds to luxurious bathrooms, we've thought of everything to make your stay unforgettable. And of course, for the early birds among us, we serve a delicious breakfast with local and fresh products to start your day off right.
Casale di Oto is not just a B&B; it's a place where time stands still, and where you have the opportunity to savor authentic Dutch-Italian hospitality and the beauty of the countryside. It was love at first sight when we first entered the grounds of the old farmhouse. The view is impressive. We find the location perfect. It overlooks the sea, and the lively town of Senigallia is nearby. The location is centrally situated in the Le Marche region. Wonderfully peaceful, rural yet not isolated. The farmhouse with its outbuildings is surrounded by a beautiful garden and covers over 6000m2. Around the Casale are fruit trees, olive trees, pine trees, cypress trees, and ancient oak trees.
The farmhouse is built in typical Marche style, where the animals used to be on the ground floor Piano terra were housed and the farmer and his family were on top of the upright lived. The staircase, the icon of our house, gives access to the 5 Farmhouse Suites. On the piano terra are our private rooms, la cusina, the Sale da Pranzo and last but not least, La Cantina the wine cellar. From the breakfast room, the glass door gives a beautiful view of the old wine barrels we left there.
After a day of impressions, a brisk hike in the mountains, cultural sniffing or a relaxing day at the beach, it is nice to come back to Casale di Oto. With the 5 in the clock, it's time for an aperitivo. In our bar or on the adjacent terrazzo, we serve a cold beer, a glass of wine or soda or a nice spritz every afternoon between 5 and 8. We also make a drinks board in no time. We have converted the old shed next to our farmhouse into a bar. There is a flat-screen TV to keep up to date with the Tour, the football tournament or the Olympics. Other than that, we just cleaned it and added some cosiness. The shed is still exactly as we found it.
We serve breakfast under the portico or on the large terrace at the back of the farmhouse. Just find a spot at one of the set tables scattered on the (*covered) terrace. No matter where you sit, the view is fantastic at any point.
*The terrace is ready, the canopy (Il Portico) still needs to be built. We hope to have this job done by 1 June too but at the moment (2 Feb 24) we cannot promise that the canopy will be there. Breakfast on the terrace will surely be possible.
If the weather is a bit less than expected, we make use of the Sale da Pranzo. A nice, large room adjacent to our open kitchen (private). With a view into the wine cellar and a fireplace. Perhaps also for a cosy dinner party, with meat on the grill and where guests can choose their own wine in the "cantina".
So for those times when you don't feel like getting dressed up to go to a restaurant, you can stay relaxed at Casale di Oto.
You have a kamado BBQ and a 2-burner gas stove at your disposal. As well as (cold) running water. Crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are also at your disposal.
All you have to do yourself is shopping, we will get rid of the dirty dishes for you.

We lovingly brew a fresh cup of coffee or tea. But sometimes we are busy with other activities. Our guests can then make their own coffee or tea for free in our coffee corner on the first floor. We also make sure the fridge is always well stocked. For a small fee, you take out cold water, soft drinks, beer or a bottle of wine. In good faith, write it down on a list in your room. Checkout at check-out.
Our garden is pre-eminently a place to unwind. With more than 6000m2 all around, there is plenty of space to isolate yourself. Everywhere we have created spots to enjoy the silence or the "sound" of silence in peace. Take a seat in the lounge area. Read a book in the rocking sofa, or enjoy a glass of wine under the olive tree or by the well.
Casale di Oto features a brand-new 4x12m swimming pool. A spacious walk-in staircase provides access to a 1.20m deep pool. There is a refreshing outdoor shower. The adjoining terraces have lovely sunbeds and parasols. With the grandiose views of the surrounding hills, this is enjoyment with a big "G"!
On arrival, a luxury beach towel will be waiting for you in the guest room. This is especially for use at our swimming pool. (Unfortunately not for the beach (-;))
Our lounge area has been transformed from a concrete slab that used to hold a gas tank into a lovely relaxation area. Our B&B is completely gas-free. The tank disappeared, freeing up the most beautiful spot in our garden.
Now you can enjoy the view of the distant hills and surrounding nature from the comfortable lounge sofa here. You can sit in the shade and unwind here under the large fig tree. Or fall asleep on a lazy warm afternoon on the rocking sofa with soft cushions and experience ultimate relaxation in our renovated lounge area.
