Regularly, the terrazzo at our bar transforms into the setting of a typical Italian family evening. At a long table, together with other guests, enjoy an evening of conviviality, laughter and of course...pizza!
Theo lights the wood-fired oven, the fire crackles and the smell of freshly baked pizza fills the air. Irma, meanwhile, unrolls the fresh pizza bases. And then the party begins; new flavours appear on the table again and again.
An evening of Italian experience, eating and enjoying together.
Think pizzas with succulent salsiccia, soft melanzane, prosciutto crudo or cotto, and of course the indispensable pomodori. Everyone grabs a delicious slice. Tastes, smiles and waits curiously for the next flavour to come out of the oven.
When the last pizza comes out of the oven, it's time for the finale; our homemade limoncello! We raise a glass together and sing our own limoncello song and toast to life, to Italy, and to an evening you won't soon forget.
